Jonathan started working at the age of 13 for a local market in Kansas. At the age of 16, he moved back to his hometown Redlands, CA and worked multiple jobs. Since then, his work ethic grew as he searched for his profession.

He met his wife, married in 2008 and have been together since. In 2010, Jonathan began his construction career where he started his mentorship with his father-in-law Alfonso, who was building new homes and doing rehabs. Starting at the bottom gaining hands on experience, Jonathan began with demolition and quickly worked his way up to project manager, learning to read plans and running projects on his own. He gained a range of knowledge in such fields as real estate development, investments and has been a part of every task imaginable in a building process. Since then, Jonathan has been integral to the construction and development of several homes in Southern California, flipping a total of 68 homes, building over 30+ homes from the ground up.

After the market went down, Alfonso decided to step down and let Jonathan take the reins. Getting his contractors license, Jonathan decided to start his own company to work closely with clients doing remodels and new construction, naming it J. Peace Builders Inc.

Present day, Jonathan has over 13 years of construction experience in various industries including residential and commercial under his belt. After working with Alfonso, Jonathan’s knowledge gives him the upper hand working with realtors, architects and multiple cities in SoCal. He uses these years of hands on experience to now manage the many details of his projects and giving him skills in leadership, planning, and cost/schedule management. Jonathan attributes his communication skills to his 10 years in the customer service industry where he learned to deal with different personalities in various circumstances. In all the years since, his attention-to-detail and commitment to owner satisfaction have been integral to his success in construction. His focus is on providing a quality personalized service and to be kind and respect to every client. Jonathan has a true passion for construction as well as building enduring relationships with everyone he encounters in the construction process, from inception through the completion of every project. Jonathan and Alfonso continue to work alongside together as the perfect team, he feels that being able to work with his father-in-law is the ultimate blessing and can’t wait to see where they’re able to take the company.

 

Not stopping there, he is currently studying to add other specialty trade licenses.

Married for 15 years, Jonathan enjoys traveling with Vanessa and spending time with his family outdoors. As a devoted father to three girls and one boy, he enjoys being active in his children’s lives. When not working, you are likely to find Jonathan deep sea fishing.
